St. Ignatius is a
vital, active parish seeking to serve the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through
worship and caring for those in need. Our Archdiocese has given us many
vehicles through which to serve God through serving one another. Please click below to

MEN'S COMMISSION
The men of St.
Ignatius meet monthly for breakfast, prayer, and planning. They have
recently decided to become involved in the ministry at the Nashville Rescue
Mission.

Fellowship of St. John Divine
The
Fellowship of St. John the Divine develops, funds and runs a variety of programs
for the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. The
Fellowship (formerly known as Senior SOYO) is the oldest of all the Archdiocese
Organizations and is responsible for the early development of Choirs, Church
School Programs and Youth Ministry Programs. The Fellowship currently develops
and oversees a wide variety of programs on the parish, regional and archdiocesan
levels.
St. Ignatius is an active part of the Fellowship. Many of the Regional
Officers are parishioners of St. Ignatius and are actively engaged in the good
works the organization supports. Most recently the development of
Camp St. Thekla for the youth in our
region has been developed. Click on the link above to find out more
information about The Fellowship of St. John the Divine.

The Purpose of The Order
of St. Ignatius of Antioch:
-
To promote and propagate
the teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the welfare of the Orthodox
faith.
-
To strengthen the
Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese as a spiritual, administrative and
functional entity.
-
To financially support
the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese through a lifetime commitment.
-
To enhance the spiritual
commitment of its members.
Every new member
receives a Cross of The Order which symbolizes his or her commitment to service
and the sacrifice for life.
The new
membership goal for The Order, set by
Metropolitan PHILIP, is
3,000 members by our thirtieth anniversary year of 2006. We have already
accomplished our previous goal of 2000 members by 2000!
Many parishioners are members and would invite you to
join us. Please make your inquiries to either Dr. Mark McCollum or Mr.
Bill Baumgartner for more information how you can "feed God's sheep." You
may also email the webmaster.
